On this page, I am trying to put together some ideas about how digital assessment in IB Physics could provide a richer, better form of assessment than paper exams. The first item is an interactive script that I coded. Please try it out:
The script above could be enlivened if it also included the capacity for a student to manipulate parameters in order to collect data. Some examples of simulations that do this include those at Physics Aviary (e.g., radioactive shielding), SimBucket (e.g., angular acceleration) and PhET (e.g., projectile motion lab). It would also be amazing if students could do real-time data analysis using a spreadsheet or a tool like noragulfa nPlot.
