Welcome to my site dedicated to enhancing your educational technology journey. Here, I aim to provide valuable resources and support.
As a Digital Learning Coach for Bullitt County Schools, I support Hebron Middle School, Zoneton Middle School, and North Bullitt High School. My role is to help teachers confidently explore and integrate new technologies, providing hands-on professional development that enables them to equip students with essential tech skills.
I began teaching in 1993 and have 20+ years of experience specializing in Instructional Technology. I bring a vast experience from teaching a variety of subjects, including World Geography, World History, American History, Math, Pre-Algebra, and Science, in both North Carolina and Kentucky. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Middle School Education (with a focus on Mathematics and Social Studies), a Master's degree in Gifted Education (K-12), and certifications in Middle School Science and Instructional Technology.
What is a Digital Learning Coach? Digital Learning Coaches support teachers through tailored coaching cycles, non-evaluative feedback, and data analysis to improve teaching practices and student outcomes. They provide professional development, facilitate peer observation, and help teachers develop competencies in areas like technology integration, differentiated instruction, and fostering student agency. Ultimately, they foster positive relationships and bridge the communication gap between teachers and leadership.
And yes, I'm a very proud alumna of the University of Louisville!
