Congratulations to our graduating seniors, Joselle Gyamfi and Jade Loerzel- we are so proud of all of your hard work, and are wishing you the best in all of the exciting things to come! We also continue to be proud of our graduate students, who presented their work across multiple conferences this semester! At this year's 2024 MAP ERC Research Day Symposium, Danielle West received the Top OHP Poster Award for her work titled, "Alignment in Work and Life Disclosure as Predictive of LGBT Wellbeing"- awesome job, Danielle! Each of our graduate students also presented research at the recent SIOP conference in Chicago- they are stars on the rise!

Congratulations to our wonderful award-winning graduate students for continuing to shine at every occasion! This semester, Shelby Davis received the Top OHP Poster Award at the 2023 MAP ERC Research Day Symposium for her work titled, "A Qualitative Exploration of Code-Switching in Black Employees"- huge congratulations, Shelby!
Additionally, Kinjal Chheda received a Department of Psychology Teaching Excellence Award for her stellar work as a lab instructor over the past year, in addition to the JKL Scholarship- we are so proud of you, Kinjal!
Finally, Julia Beckel received a Kraiger Research Award to help fund her dissertation project, titled "Safety through Diversity Management: Diversity Climate and Racial-Ethnic Differences in Worker Safety Voice." Julia additionally successfully proposed this project to her dissertation committee this semester- we are so excited to see the culmination of this project very soon!
This semester saw recognition for two of our outstanding graduate lab members- Julia Beckel received the George Thornton Graduate Student of the Year Award, while Kinjal Chheda was designated a Research Top Scholar for her work presented at the CSU Graduate Student Showcase- huge congratulations to you both!

Congratulations to Dr. Marisa Rosen for successfully defending her dissertation, entitled "The Silent Minority: Differential Effects of Diversity Climate on Silence and Burnout Depending on Minority Status." Though we will miss her in the RISE Lab, we are so excited for Dr. Rosen to begin her career as a Consultant with OrgVitality later this summer.
