Gone are the days of throwing out your old homework because you needed to free up a binder, and then regretting it half a semester later when you wish you could refer back to them! With EZ Ringzᵀᴹ, you can simply take out the old homework from your binder, slap on the Ringz, and have an empty binder to use for the next semester! EZ Ringz - a student's best friend!
In my first two years of university, I printed and wrote a lot of notes for my classes. Eventually, I found myself running out of binders to store my notes in. I didn't want to purchase more binders because it was not an economical solution both space-wise (binders are rigid and take up more space than stacks of paper) and money-wise (if I keep on buying binders each term until I graduate, I will spend a lot of money on them). Thus, I was motivated to design a 3D-printable ring clip that would replace my bulky binders. After each term, I could extract all the sheets from a binder, put two Ringz on them, and reuse the same binder for the next term!
I designed EZ Ringz to be easy to put on and take off without needing any mechanical locking mechanisms. Since PLA (the 3D printing filament) is flexible and has a high modulus of elasticity, the ring will open up by bending the ring outward with your hands and return to its original form after you slip it through the holes of your papers.
