INNOCENCE UNFILTERED
In 2015, I walked through the narrow alleys of a forgotten neighborhood on the outskirts of Kabul, accompanied by fellow photography students. While others raised their cameras, I chose silence—photographing only with my phone, hoping not to disturb the innocence and reality unfolding before me.
This is part of my approach to photography. I'm not even a narrator. I'm just an observer.
This Photo series is a return—not just to that day, but to my own childhood. childhood that effected by war and migration. The games, the curiosity, the barefoot runs... it seems nothing has changed.
I didn’t want them to stop playing & pose for the camera. simply watched, quietly, as they played and explored. Now, I invite you to do the same...
