Tango@t’Shed is a friendly, well-established milonga valued for its relaxed atmosphere, thoughtful DJing, and welcoming community. Dancers consistently praise the quality of the space, the care taken in its organisation, and the respectful, enjoyable social dance it fosters. For many experienced tango dancers, Tango@t’Shed is a much-loved part of the local tango scene — a place to dance, connect, and feel at home.

Join us on Sunday 21st June for our next tango event of the year at The Engine Shed Wetherby.
Gillian will be joined by guest DJ Frank Blue Shoes Newton, who we warmly welcome to our event. Frankie has a playlist of tracks suited to alternative tango. A popular DJ on the tango events circuit, you will be beguiled and carried along by an evocative mix of rhythms, textures, and unexpected musical turns, creating an atmosphere that invites both connection and playful exploration on the dance floor.
Booking is in advance only, which helps keep things balanced for both leads and follows and makes the whole event run more smoothly. Contact Dawn on 07916 950089.
The price is £14. Refreshments, cakes and biscuits will be available and are included in the cost of your booking. There won't be a bar for these events.
While Dave leaves us to travel, Gillian remains as guest DJ plus we will be inviting one other person to join us at each event to play their mix of tango greats. We also expect to run a class before some events.
Gillian's music is suited to both Traditional and Nuevo tango, and is an eclectic selection of Golden Era; Classical; Nuevo Tango; Neo Tango and modern Alternative/Rock etc.
