Tango@t’Shed is a friendly, well-established milonga valued for its relaxed atmosphere, thoughtful DJing, and welcoming community. Dancers consistently praise the quality of the space, the care taken in its organisation, and the respectful, enjoyable social dance it fosters. For many experienced tango dancers, Tango@t’Shed is a much-loved part of the local tango scene — a place to dance, connect, and feel at home.

Dance Card Events, partnering with Gillian Cordingley from Skipton Tango, have announced the dates of our solely tango dances throughout 2026 above. The events are strictly advanced bookings only to allow for gender balancing.
While Dave leaves us to travel, Gillian remains as guest DJ plus we will be inviting one other person to join us at each event to play their mix of tango greats. We also expect to run a class before some events.
Music is suited to both Traditional and Nuevo tango, and is an eclectic selection of Golden Era; Classical; Nuevo Tango; Neo Tango and modern Alternative/Rock etc.
Refreshments, cakes and biscuits will be available and are included in the cost of your booking. There won't be a bar for these events.
