Guest teachers Matt Brooke and his daughter Maddy were our hosts on Thursday 26th June at Rhythm & Jive Modern Jive class at the Jion Studio in Ripon.Â
Matt is a Modern Jive competition and showcase dancer. His history is in Ballroom, Modern Jive and West Coast Swing. Matt organises the October Melia hotel annual dance weekender Benidorm Jive. https://www.facebook.com/groups/benidormjive/ This is a very relaxed, sociable event for dancers of all levels and is enjoyed by Spanish residents as well as those of us who holiday there with him and Maddy.
The venue for our taster dance class was Claro Lounge in Ripon. The staff are warm and welcoming and supportive of all we do - so thanks go to Conor and his team.Â
