If what you want to learn is martial arts, you will indeed learn the "techniques" of "fighting." However, what is taught here is not the "techniques" for "competitive fighting matches." You need to first understand the difference between the two.

The curriculum is categorized into three primary pillars: Self-Defense, Aiki Research, and Jujutsu.
Aiki Research: Focuses on the Ichigen Chokuden (Direct Transmission) content passed down by Grandmaster Yukiyoshi Sagawa.
Jujutsu: Covers the Daito-ryu techniques organized by Master Paul.
Self-Defense: Includes various systems such as Chinese Martial Arts, Kenpo, and other integrated combat methods.
Both Jujutsu and Self-Defense incorporate fundamental striking and kicking techniques that may fall outside traditional Daito-ryu. These are considered essential from a personal defense perspective: without mastering basic offensive skills, it is impossible to develop effective self-defense capabilities within a reasonable timeframe.
Class Structure & Etiquette
Brief opening and closing ceremonies are conducted to honor martial traditions.

Self-Defense & Kenpo Application: Occasional sessions held based on the specific focus or progress of the day.
Jujutsu Training: Personalized instruction where students learn new techniques or review existing ones according to their individual progress. Including Jujutsu Kihon and Aikijujutsu Mokuroku
