About Us

The Accelerated Research-based Agribusiness for New and Growing agripreneurs through Knowledgeable, Aggressive and Dynamic Approach Technology Business Incubation CALABARZON or    ARANGKADA TBI CALABARZON program is an initiative led by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office IV-A (DA-RFO 4A) funded by DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research and in partnership with academic institutions, local government units (LGUs), and other agencies. This program supports the commercialization of mature technologies and provides a nurturing environment for the development of agripreneurs and agribusinesses focused on the production and processing of priority commodities of the Region. With this, ARANGKADA TBI aims to drive economic growth and enhance the productivity and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in the CALABARZON region.

At its core, ARANGKADA TBI CALABARZON is dedicated to transforming mature technologies into thriving agribusinesses through a tailored incubation program. These include access to shared facilities, capacity enhancement training, product development support, and regulatory compliance assistance. The program also facilitates the development of market linkages, helping incubatees penetrate local and international markets. Partnerships with stakeholders such as Batangas State University (BSU), DA-Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), and research stations enhance the program’s capacity to offer holistic and sustainable support to agricultural technology-based agri-enterprises and cooperatives.

The program continuously expands its reach through initiatives such as the adoption of the Enterprise Assessment (EA) process, which ensures the enrollment of viable enterprises into the incubation curriculum. With an emphasis on diverse agricultural products like root crops, mushrooms, native meat, cacao, and coffee, ARANGKADA TBI CALABARZON provides tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of its incubatees. Moving forward, the program aims to establish itself as a flagship initiative under DA-RFO 4A’s Technology Commercialization efforts, ensuring long-term sustainability and far-reaching impact for the agricultural sector in the region.
