Brighton Bangers
This group local to Oak Square is a great way to have a social and active Wednesday Evening. They meet in front of the YMCA at 7pm to kick off either the 3 mile, 4.5 mile or 6 mile run. This group is very welcoming and has banquets, travel races, and grand prix races monthly so if you’re into racing with a team, you have a lot of opportunities. After each run they go to the Last Drop for a beer to keep the fun going longer. This Group also has a long run on Saturdays at 9am/10am depending on the time of the year. If you’re interested in being endorsed for leadership on linkedIn, become a run leader on Saturday. This is a great opportunity. :) (21+).
TrackSmith
With Speed workouts open to the public on Wednesdays at 6:30PM, this group is a great way to get a good workout in, increase your heart rate and get to that lactic threshold. They say they are open to runners of all abilities, but I get an intense vibe from this group. These are some serious runners. They meet at their Track house on Newbury Street and hit the roads or the track. Upon completing the workout, they host core in the store and have refreshments after. They also offer a Long run from the store at 8AM ranging from 10-20 miles in distance.

Great group!
