Overview

In line with the new professional standards for teachers, the Department of Education (DepEd), through the Teacher Education Council (TEC), issues this DepEd Order entitled National Adoption and Implementation of the Philippine

Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST)

The PPST will serve as the foundation for all teacher learning and development programs, ensuring that educators are well-prepared to effectively carry out the K to 12 Program. Additionally, it can be utilized in the selection and promotion of teachers. All teacher performance evaluations will be guided by these standards. 

The PPST has a 7 Domains collectively comprise 37 strands that refer to more specific dimensions of teacher practices. This website will focus on the 1st Domain, which is Content Knowledge and Pedagogy.
