The Senedd Consultation on Estate Management Charges took place in 2022 and many residents took the opportunity to express their concerns, this link takes you to the summary of responses and the following briefing document which resulted from the consultation. Following on from this a couple of petitions were raised with the Senedd and the Petitions Committee has taken the step of further investigations into the topic and with the help of Hefin arranged a visit with the CCCA to examine the Cwm Calon site and to discuss residents concerns. We raised the following topics with jack Sargeant MS the chair of the committee and he has asked us to provide some further background and recommendations with the intent of the committee making recommendations to the Senedd for action.
We will update this site and Facebook with more information when it is available.
We have also included a link provided by another group Hornet, or home owners rights campaigning for the abolishment of maintenance charges. This is the briefing document currently being reviewed in the House of Commons.
