Asian American Culture Club unifies students that have different Asian backgrounds. We like to present slides about current events, holidays, and other topics surrounding our different cultures. This year I'm going to try to set up fundraising events, and hopefully find volunteer opportunities for our club members to participate in.
Black Student Union gives an opportunity to learn about Black culture, history and the current events in the Black community. We do this by having a variety of different activities and lessons. We strive to create a safe space for Black students at CVHS but it is still a club open to anyone regardless of race.
Our club teaches interesting and exciting things about Chinese Culture, such as calligraphy, Chinese mythology and more. People who join will come out of the club with more knowledge about Chinese culture.
We will be practicing and learning about the culture of lion dancing. It’s an incredibly rewarding and exhilarating experience that combines artistry, athleticism, and cultural tradition. This is a good way to build trust with others since you'll need to communicate with one another. ANYONE is able to come and learn, regardless of who you are, as long as you are willing to put in the effort. We hope you enjoy your stay!
The East African Student Association aims to foster a community within our school, connecting students through cultural exchanges and education. During meetings we will discuss various East African countries, share facts and traditions, and provide a supportive environment where students can learn from each other and celebrate their heritage.

The French Culture Club (FCC) is a club that welcomes and embraces francophone culture. This club focuses on francophone countries, discussing their cultures and history. This club also focuses on the French Language, so if you are interested in learning French with a global perspective or just interested in fun facts and history, come join us!
German Club is a place to learn about the German culture and connect with other people interested in it. In clubs we discuss and partake in the history, food, art, community service, etc. of Germany.
The Greek Club is for people to learn about the Greek Heritage, Culture and Customs, and how we incorporate our foundations into everyday teenager life.
A club dedicated to building community and celebrating the rich traditions of Polynesian, Melanesian, and Micronesian cultures. A welcoming space to connect, share stories, and learn more about our history, customs, and values of these vibrant communities.
Join JCC to learn about Japanese culture and explore authentic snacks. We also love to collab with other clubs so not only do we learn about Japanese culture but other clubs as well!
Korean Culture Club is a club to learn about culture, games, and language in Korea. It is a club where you can volunteer at a non-profit, play korean games, and learn about the details of Korea’s amazing culture. Hope to see you there!
We are a group of students who really want to make a change in society and teach people more about the Latino culture. We want to help not only students but also parents cherish and preserve the ethics and culture diversity that nourishes and strengthens our school and our nation.
The Muslim Student Association (MSA) is a club where we can come together and support each other as Muslims in America. We can plan fun events like Eid celebrations, Ramadan nights, and suhoor mornings and volunteering at some masjids. We also want to try to fundraiser for countries in need such as Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Lebanon, Pakistan, and many others. This is a space for us to share our experiences, learn more about Islam, and grow together in a positive and judgment free way.

Puente Club is an extension to the pathway but not limited to students in Puente. Students who attend Puente Club will participate in planning events, volunteer opportunities, and being part of a friendly community.
Castro Valley SASA, the South Asian Student Association, is a club where students come together to celebrate culture, traditions, and community through food, music, dance, festivals, and fun activities. Whether you are South Asian or simply want to learn more, SASA is a welcoming space to connect with new friends and be part of exciting events that showcase South Asian culture on campus. Vietnamese Culture Club aims to strengthen cultural roots among Vietnamese students while sharing our culture with everyone interested!
