Cursed Walking Wiki - Server and Multiplayer

There are multiple options you can choose from for Multiplayer support for this modpack. If you only have a couple friends, and don't mind occasional performance issues, you could use the Essential mod. If you have more friends, or want better performance in general, using a dedicated server is recommended. You can also join the official Cursed Walking server.

Essential mod:

To use Essential you will need to add the Essential mod to the Cursed Walking modpack. If you are installing this on the Curseforge app, first enable content management, then search for and add the mod.
Essential allows you to host your singleplayer world for others to join. Add and invite your friends to play.

NOTE: Essential is best for only a few players, the fewer the better. Performance using Essential also depends on your internet and pc performance. You could also try e4mc, although this has not been significantly tested.

Using a server:

There are server files available for download on the Cursed Walking page if you want to create your own server.
Alternatively, you can buy a dedicated server from a server host like Bisect Hosting.

Playing on the official server:

The official Cursed Walking server is a minecraft server for this modpack that is managed by Admin and some staff on my discord server. The server supports PvE, and full on PvP, through a set of unique rules to enable to people to choose the playstyle they prefer. Events occur occasionally, usually during or around main stream U.S. holidays.
