How to Play:

Setup:

- Install the modpack via the CurseForge app.
- Allocate sufficient RAM (at least 4GB, ideally 6-9GB) for smooth gameplay, especially with shaders or high render distances
Starting a Game:
- In single-player, create a new world. Manually enabled city generation is not needed in newer versions.
Gameplay Mechanics:
- Survive against zombies, which can form hordes, become faster, and are more challenging during events like blood moons.
- Explore cities, use modern tools like guns, and build your safest base.
- Go to the Void dimension to get end game items

Common modpack issues:

Crashing on start.

Make certain you have not added any extra mods to the modpack. Note: Optifine is not needed. Adding it will cause the game to crash.
If you have an Asus brand laptop/desktop, make sure you are in the "Ultimate" GPU profile in the Asus Armory Crate software. Attempting to launch the modpack in another profile will crash the game.

Freezing/stuttering. Either temporary or leading to crashing.

- Likely, you don't have enough RAM allocated. You can allocate more in the Minecraft launcher menu, or if you can't, disable shaders if you are using them, and/or reduce render/simulation distance.

Generally low performance. Low frames.

Reduce simulation distance. Zombie AI can be quite demanding in some situations, so only allowing entities to move/update their behavior in a close radius will help with performance.

Add extra performance mods or resource packs. One I recommend is Leaf culling. Expect a nice boost in fps in forested areas at the cost of visuals.
