MARK CARTER - DIRECTOR

Mark is the Artistic Director of DSR Productions and has been directing for over 30 years. Favourite credits include Silence: The Musical, Night of The Living Dead, Evil Dead; The Musical, Bullshot Crummond, and The Rocky Horror Show. Previously, Mark has worked with Royal Canadian and Ellie, as a performer, in Dracula: The Silver Scream and The Hound of the Baskervilles. DOUG CAMERON - plays JARDIM

Doug is thrilled to join this very talented company of young people as he celebrates more than 50 years in professional show business. Favourites in his credits are Prospero, at Bard on the Beach; The Baker in Into The Woods at Freddie Wood; US Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, in When We Rise (by Oscar Winner, Dustin Lance Black); Co-star with Shari Lewis and Lamchop in Lambchop in the Haunted Studio. He's toured Canada and performed in Japan and the US. He was truly honoured in 2018 when he was inducted as a pioneer to the BC entertainment Hall of Fame. He hopes you enjoy this very creative production as much as he is enjoying this process once again.


HOLLY COLLIS HANDFORD (she/her) - MUSIC DIRECTOR, COMPOSER - plays MAGGY

Holly is a Vancouver based actor and musician living and working on Coast Salish territory. She has performed with United Players (Emilia), Axis Theatre (Isabella in Juggle Me Not), The Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival (Julia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona), Theatre Under The Stars (Cinderella), and Six/Ten Productions (The Last Jubilee). Holly has composed and directed music for productions with Axis Theatre, UBC Theatre and Film, and National Theatre School (Art Apart’s Papa Records Everything). Holly has her ARCT in Voice Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music and a BFA in Acting from the University of British Columbia.


AERHYN LAU - CHOREOGRAPHER - plays MAGI

Aerhyn is proud to be a part of another stunning new musical. An ex-Cap College theatre student, Aerhyn has had the honour of travelling across the country to appear on stages for Canadians all around! Favourite credits include: Sam/Ensemble in “Elf: The Musical” (Persephone), Bob Cratchit/Ghost of Christmas Past in “A Christmas Carol”(Magnus), Baker Bap in “Baking Time” (Presentation House), & Grandmaster Chad/Others in “Legally Blonde” (TUTS). Thanks to Mark, Holly, Dawn, & Des for trusting my many talents used in the show.



MIKENZIE PAGE (she/her)- plays LENA

Mikenzie is a theatre artist, educator, and creator currently based on the unceded and stolen ancestral lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh people. Mikenzie is so excited to be performing with such a fabulous group of people and also for you to see her rock out on the ukulele (which she does not play!). Selected credits include: The Vagina Monologues (Peninsula Productions) Ella the Elk (Blue Jeans/ Vertigo Theatre), TomorrowLove, A Doll’s House, The Radium Girls: FourPlay (Studio 58), The Wax In His Wings (Risky Nights, Studio 58). Mikenzie is a graduate of Studio 58.


HAYLEY SULLIVAN (She/Her) - plays MAGGIE

Hayley trained at both Actors Centre Australia and The Atlantic Acting School in New York.

Theatre credits include: Emilia (United Players of Van), A Coveted Wife of East Van (Vancouver Fringe Festival), Russian Transport (Darlinghurst Theatre), You can have it all (Sekrit Projekt), Fat on Purpose (Mantaur), Fragments Of I Am (The Nest), Curse of the Starving Class (ACA) and A Winter’s Tale (ACA)

Film/TV credits include: Release (Anomaly Pictures), San Andreas (Village Roadshow), Rough Stuff (Foveaux Street Productions), Blue Mist (Story Rock Star), Fireflies (Southern Star/ABC), Starting From Now (Common Language Films) and Packed to the Rafters (Channel 7).



AVERY TAYLOR - plays TERA

Avery is making her Presentation House debut as Tera in this delightful new musical with Curious Creations. She is continually grateful to work in theatre and film on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples and beyond. Some of her other notable theatre credits include Metro Theatre’s Snow White, Patient 7: Solya with Brave New Playwrites, Sleeping Beauty with Toronto based company Results Entertainment, Still Life Continuum at the Orpheum, and Little Women with UBC Players Club in which she directed.


ELAINE THRASH - plays CHEFE

Elaine is a Brazilian actress, singer, dancer, writer, and model. With over 15 years of experience, she's led several plays and short films, hosted a web TV show and was the frontwoman in Heavy Metal bands, all before starting over in another country and another language. She is the author of two books. Awards include Best Actress in Prime Time or Feast for Vultures short film at Guaru Fantastico Film Festival, and Best Actress in several plays at CIAVIP Cultural theatre company. Elaine also speaks Portuguese, French, and a bit of Spanish.


EASTON VAN B - plays PAULIE

Easton is a fresh face on the Vancouver scene. Raised in Saskatchewan, he moved by himself to the big city, without a safety net. After just a year, he's gotten several great roles in both film and stage and is welcomed as a fantastic new and talented addition to the team. Easton is constantly on the lookout for new friends and industry connections, and intends on being the next big star.
