Our company embraces the idea of making creative social commentary by repurposing snippets from the theatre canon - thoughts, images and bits of dialogue from public lectures, interviews, video, and social media - creating a new, unique and original narrative form. We conflated fiction with aspects of real people and situations to form characters and plot. All delivered in a fun, ironic and slightly absurd theatrical package.

In Waiting for Garbo you’ll meet two radically different groups – the Catadores, garbage pickers at the world’s largest dump, and the Garbo Seekers, three Magi intent on finding salvation through the lost films of their goddess Greta Garbo. Their worlds collide and what happens is both funny and thought-provoking. All delivered by an amazing cast who perform, sing, and play a wonderful array of musical instruments. The topics of consumerism and plastic pollution have never been so much fun.
