π Cumberland Band Scholarship Application
The Cumberland PTA offers scholarships to help cover band tuition and/or rental of a school-owned instrument for the 2026β2027 school year.
Complete the scholarship application form below. After submitting your application, you will receive confirmation of your scholarship decision and instructions on how to proceed.
For band tuition assistance
New students: Submit your scholarship application before Beginner Band registration opens so you can receive your scholarship decision and instructions before selecting an instrument. Instrument selection is first-come, first-served. Applications received after Beginner Band registration opens may still be considered, but instrument choices will depend on availability.
Returning students: Submit your scholarship application before registering. There is no application deadline for returning students.
Once you have been notified that your scholarship has been awarded, complete the registration steps on the Beginner Band Registration page or the Intermediate Band Registration page, following the instructions provided with your scholarship award. Do not pay the regular tuition fee. Scholarships cannot be applied or reimbursed after the applicable fees have been paid.
For school-owned instrument rental assistance
Submit your scholarship application by September 11, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will only be considered if a school-owned instrument is still available.
Once you have been notified that your scholarship has been awarded, you will receive separate instructions on how to complete your school-owned instrument rental. Do not pay the regular rental fee. Scholarships cannot be applied or reimbursed after the applicable fees have been paid.
