The band has a limited number of school-owned instruments available to rent for the 2026–2027 school year. Instrument rental opens September 12, 2026 at 8:00 PM for new and returning students and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Most of our school-owned instruments were purchased within the past three years and are quality-brand instruments. All school-owned instruments are professionally serviced each year before the start of the school year to ensure they are in good playing condition. Families have the opportunity to rent these instruments at a highly discounted rate. The rental fee helps support the maintenance and upkeep of the instruments, and this discounted rental program is one of the benefits the Cumberland PTA provides to band families.
Instruments must be returned to the school at the end of the school year. Instruments returned after the due date may be subject to additional monthly rental fees.
The Cumberland PTA offers scholarships for families who need assistance with school-owned instrument rental. Please review the scholarship information and submit an application by September 11, 2026 if you would like to be considered. Applications received after the deadline will only be considered if a school-owned instrument is still available.
Scholarship recipients: Please refer to the email sent to you for instructions on completing your school-owned instrument rental.
