Welcome to the Cumberland Band Program

The Cumberland Band Program, directed by Mr. Andy Morales, is open to all 4th and 5th graders. Our program provides students with a strong foundation in music through music theory, notation, memorization of at least three major scales, and instruction on seven different instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Alto Saxophone, Percussion (drums and glockenspiel)

Performances

The Cumberland Band performs twice during the school year at our Winter and Spring Concerts.

Weekly Band Practice

Weekly band practices begin in mid-September and continue through the end of the school year. Band meets every Tuesday:

• Beginner Band: 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM

• Intermediate Band: 3:45 PM - 4:40 PM

Tuition & Instrument Rental

Annual band tuition is $275, with a separate instrument rental fee.
