Not every game has to be about winning or lessons. Sometimes it's just about having fun. We regularly host casual, low-pressure matches where kids can play each other or instructors in a relaxed setting, whether they're currently enrolled in lessons or not. Friendly games are a great way for students to practice what they’ve learned, try new openings or ideas, meet other players in the community, and just enjoy the game without stress.

 These sessions are open to all local students, even if they’re not in our lesson program. Our goal is to create a welcoming space, whether online or in person, where kids can connect, grow, and enjoy the game together.

 Chess can be about learning, but it’s also about friendship, discovery, and fun.
