Cub Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and girls (Kindergarten through fifth grade) and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Family involvement is an essential part of the program, and parents are encouraged to play an active role. Cub Scouting helps parents make the most of the short time they have to impact the lives of their children.
Scouts, BSA (formerly known as Boy Scouts of America) is dedicated to bringing out the best in boys and girls and the Cub Scout program is designed to:
Nurture leadership and character growth
Strengthen families

Pack 203 is sponsored by King of Glory Lutheran Church in Arvada, CO.
Our pack meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month during the school year at King of Glory from 6:00-7:00.
Pack 203 has a long history as a large, active pack with annual youth membership around 60 and a strong relationship with our sponsoring organization. We have youth from many local elementary schools, including Westwoods, Mieklejohn, Excel Academy, Fairmount and Stott Elementary.
Pack 203 is part of the Alpine District (formerly known as Gateway District) in the Denver Area Council.
A Cub Scout Pack is made up of boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grades. The Pack meets once a month from August through May. Pack activities include camping, fishing, the annual Pinewood Derby, Rain Gutter Regatta, model rocket launch, Blue and Gold Banquet, community service projects and much more.
The Cub Scouts are grouped by grade into dens. Most of Cub Scouting fun and action occurs within the den. Dens are coordinated by a Den Leader and meet 1 or 2 times a month for games, to work on achievements and visit interesting areas around town.

Cub Scouting is a family activity and parents, grandparents and other family members pitch in to help us run the pack. Siblings are always included and welcome at all of our events. Check out what we have been doing on our Facebook page here.
For more information on the dens and rank advancement, please visit the Dens page.
Pack 203 welcomes any volunteer who would like to help! The time commitment can be anything you are able to give - from one of the key administrative positions to a committee member for a single event. If you are interested in helping the pack, please contact our Committee Chair or Pack Trainer.
The dedication and commitment of our Pack Committee, Cubmaster and Den Leaders enables us to have an outstanding program to offer. They spend hours planning for den meetings, pack meetings, camping trips and other events. It is this leadership that enables our Pack to offer our Scouts and opportunity to grow and advance.
