CTRL+ALT+Respect: Digital Citizenship for the Middle School Student
ABOUT THIS MODULE
The Professional Learning Module (PLM) is designed to support your work with students by exploring digital citizenship in a practical, relevant way. Please watch the Introduction Video for a quick walkthrough of how the site is organized, what to expect in each section, and how to move through the content. After watching, take a moment to review the goals, objectives, and standards that will guide your learning. The materials in this module are designed to be flexible and classroom-ready. Start with what makes sense for your students and build from there.
This module will take approximately five hours to complete. It is recommended that you complete this module in a single session; however, it is designed to allow you to stop and continue as needed. At the end of the module, you’ll take a short assessment. If you score 85% or higher, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion for Continuing Education Credit (CEUs) that will be sent to you by email. You will need to verify with your educational system whether the CEUs will be accepted.
To get started, watch the Introduction Video to learn how to navigate this PLM.
