Sarah is a middle school Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher with eighteen years of experience in education. Her background includes teaching middle school CTE courses, supporting Exceptional Children (EC), and leading computer skills courses at the community college level.
Before entering education, Sarah held administrative roles across multiple industries - including travel, information technology, and workforce transition support at a major technology firm. These experiences deepened her passion for career readiness and real-world learning.
She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently pursuing both a Doctorate in the same field and a second Master of Education in School Administration. She is also a collaborator on instructional design teams. A lifelong learner at heart, Sarah is drawn to instructional design, teacher development, and supporting the growth of both students and educators.
She proudly channels her inner Philomuse - a clipboard-carrying, strategy-loving advocate who believes the best leadership happens behind the scenes (often with a Coca-Cola in hand)! Her work in CTE is grounded in helping students connect classroom learning to real-world careers and futures.
Gennifer is a math teacher who has been teaching for 13 years. 10 of these years were at the elementary level teaching all core subjects to grades 2-5 in Florida. For the past 3 years, she has been teaching middle school math at a South Carolina, AVID, Demonstration site.
She is moving to the high school freshman geometry for the upcoming school year. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and another Master of Education in School Administration. She loves being in the field of education and accepting challenges given to her in the world of education. Every challenge is an opportunity for growth and becoming a better educator.
As a student herself, she did not enjoy math. Gennifer finds ways to make real-life connections for students in math and provides students with hands-on math experiences. She enjoys project-based learning assignments in her classroom, because the students get to apply meaningful projects that will be useful in their everyday lives. Her mission is to help students enhance their math learning skills, preparing them for the 21st century.
Tiffany is a special education teacher in Guilford County Schools with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs. With over 18 years of experience in education, including 15 years at the middle school level. She is dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
Her professional experience includes providing evidence-based math education support to students with disabilities in both general and special education classrooms. She is also trained in delivering behavior and crisis interventions for students with emotional and behavioral needs.
Tiffany's research interests focus on special education teachers, exploring the various systems and practices that contribute to their professional success and job satisfaction. She aims to understand the factors that influence the longevity of special education teachers in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Education in Special Education with a focus on General Curriculum (K–12) from Elon University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master of Education in School Administration at Gardner-Webb University.
