DIGITAL DIARY
DIGITAL DIARY
Throughout this lesson, you’ll use a tool called the Digital Diary to engage with the content, respond to prompts, and capture your thinking along the way.
Think of it as a flexible, digital version of a classroom notebook—one you'll complete on your computer or tablet, or print out if you prefer. All reflection prompts and activities are included in the Digital Diary, so everything you need is in one place.
You'll return to the Digital Diary throughout the module, beginning with the Challenge Video on the next page. You will continue to refer to the Digital Diary as you progress through the lessons, and you will submit it during the final assessment to receive credit for completing the module.
Click the image above to open the Digital Diary in Google Slides. You’ll be prompted to make a copy — this will save your personal version to your Google Drive. Keep it somewhere easy to access, as you’ll return to it throughout the module.
Each prompt includes a comment box so you can provide more detailed, thoughtful responses beyond the space provided in the slide itself.
Now that you know how the Digital Diary works, it's time to put it into action.
Using your Digital Diary, respond to the following questions.
How do we prepare students to use technology safely, ethically, and thoughtfully?
What responsibilities do students have as digital citizens?
What tools do we, as educators, need to guide students?
