My deep knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) drives inclusive pedagogy across higher education contexts. Interactive workshops, coaching sessions, and designed materials showcase my multifaceted application of this practical framework. By guiding educators to understand and implement key UDL principles, I provide opportunities to foster better accessibility, equity, and support for all learners .
The examples below reflect the breadth of my UDL specialization - from dynamic training to implemented classroom materials that creatively support all learners.Â
I designed an engaging professional development webinar on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in collaboration with our Director of Accessibility and my teammate who is a Learning Experience Strategist. The 1-hour interactive virtual session provides an opportunity for instructors to discuss and explore the UDL framework for creating accessible learning for all students.
Drawing upon my expertise in ID and edtech, I researched and compiled UDL best practices for the facilitators and collaboratively created an interactive slide presentation. These materials are meant to help attendees learn UDL basics while allowing them to experience the principles first-hand as they explore content in Canvas designed with different levels of accessibility. This session takes place in March 2024.
