The University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) currently represents the biggest university in Slovakia, which provides complex and integral education in economic and management study programmes at all levels of study. The EUBA is the part of the European Higher Education Area and the common European Research Area (ERA). As part of this integration its mission is to provide a quality higher education in all three levels of university studies in the complex of economic and management curricula and selected study programs in the humanities and the informatics, to develop the knowledge based on the freedom of creative scientific research in economics, informatics, humanities and social sciences, and thus contributing to development of the knowledge society in Slovakia and in the European area.
Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) is one of eleven German universities that were identified by the German government as “Universities of Excellence‘ in 2012. In 2019, the university was able to substantiate its outstanding achievements and to defend its title in a national competition. As of 1 November 2019, TUD will receive permanent funding within the framework of the Excellence Strategy of the Federal and State Governments. TUD is one of the largest technical universities in Germany and is among the leading and most dynamic universities in Germany. As a university with 18 faculties in five Schools, TUD offers a broad variety of 121 degree courses and covers a wide research spectrum in the Research Priority Areas Health Sciences, Biomedicine & Bioengineering, Information Technology & Microelectronics, Smart Materials & Structures, Energy, Mobility & Environment as well as Culture & Society Change.
The Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (IPG) is an institution of higher education dedicated to preparing students academically at undergraduate and Master’s levels, research and investigation activities and services to the community, and cultural, scientific and technical exchange. In the current academic year, the IPG has approximately 3000 students and over 250 teachers. The IPG is founded on quality educational objectives and the use and development of new technologies. There are four Schools of Higher Education that offer study cycles in the areas of education, health, tourism and technology and management. The IPG is aware of the importance of quality in all its teaching, research and management activities as a strategic factor for the skills and qualifications of its graduates to be recognized by local institutions and society in general. IPG has developed academic, scientific and cultural cooperation activities with other institutions.
The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) is a modern research and higher education institution. It continues a legacy of the 260-year-old Mining Academy in Banská Štiavnica, where the foundations of vocational and practical learning were established. STU offers education in technical fields and involves students in research in natural sciences, computer sciences, construction, architecture, materials technologies, chemistry and food technologies. At international level, STU has closed hundreds of collaboration agreements with foreign universities, faculties and research institutes. Every year almost 500 students are sent abroad on study stays and/or participate in student exchange programmes. Research teams at the University are involved in international projects and annually deal with about 700 research projects funded through grants and hundreds of research contracts commissioned by businesses.
The University of Amsterdam is the Netherlands' largest university, offering the widest range of academic programs. At the UvA, 30,000 students, 6,000 staff members and 3,000 PhD candidates study and work in a diverse range of fields. The UvA is a top-100 university globally and one of Europe's 15 best universities. The UvA is a member of LERU, a network of European research universities with a common vision for higher education and European research policy. In the Strategic Plan 2015-2020, the UvA pays special attention to innovation of education using blended and e-learning techniques, sustainability, internationalization of education, diversity and inclusion. All courses at the UvA use already long for the corona crisis the state of the art digital technology. The Faculty of Science at UvA is organized in one comprehensive faculty having eight research institutes, including the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosysem Dynamica.

Our mission is to contribute to the development of a knowledge society through research, excellence, quality education and international cooperation. The world's leading university rankings place Sapienza at the top of Italian universities for quality of research, education and international dimension; moreover, Sapienza excels and leads as a benchmark in many subjectareas. Sapienza currently offers over 280 degree programmes (Bachelor's and Master's) - among which over 35 are taught in English- 200 vocational master courses and almost 80 PhDs.
Bifröst University was founded in Reykjavík Iceland in 1918 on the model of Ruskin College, Oxford, under the name Samvinnuskólinn or the Cooperative College. From the start its role was to educate leaders for business and society at large. The school was moved to Borgarfjörður in 1955, situated 110km north of the capital. Bifröst was accredited as a university in 1988, first only in Business, then also offering degrees in Law since 2002 and in Social Science since 2005. Bifröst currently has around 900 students in blended and distance learning programs and approximately 25 permanent academic staff, in addition to a number of experienced part-time adjuncts who bring in valuable insights and experience from both public and private sectors.
Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin is the largest higher education institution in the eastern part of Poland with over 70 years of tradition. From its beginnings it was identified and ranked as a leading academic and research centre in Poland. Our University is an institution that implements European educational standards and continuously follows solutions that benefit higher education and society at large. The University actively participates in building the European Higher Education Area. Up to this date, our Alma Mater has produced over 235 thousands graduates. Currently, we are training almost 19 thousands students, of whom 10% are foreign students, which place us every year on the top most internationalized universities in Poland.
