CSUF Quality Matters Lead

Dr. Shelli Wynants, who has a 27-year tenure as faculty in the Department of Child and Adolescent Studies, brings extensive experiences in online teaching, course redesign, Universal Design for Learning, and accessibility to foster quality assurance outcomes. She has completed QM training (APPQMR & PRC) and WebAIM accessibility training, has a QM certified course, and is a certified QM APPQMR F2F and QM DYOC F2F Facilitator.  She is currently CSUF’s Quality Online Inclusive Learning Design Coordinator, managing campus grants on QM, OER, and Affordable Learning $olutions, and serves on the Accessible Instructional Materials Committee.

Marsha Orr

CSUF QM Special Consultant

Marsha Orr, previously a Lecturer and Coordinator for Distance Nursing Education, serves as a CSUF QM special consultant.  She not only has extensive experience teaching online courses, but also developed strong expertise in online learning technologies.  Her Quality Matters expertise includes QM course certification, Peer Reviewer certification, Master Reviewer certification, and certification as a Facilitator of the QM online APPQMR and DYOC courses. She previously served a co-Lead of the grant. 


Dr. Sinjini Mitra

CSUF SQuAIR Lead

Dr. Sinjini Mitra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. She has extensive experience in teaching online courses and has been teaching in the Online Business Completion program since its inception in 2012.  She has been an active member of faculty learning communities related to online learning technologies including the Open Educational Resources (OER) Ambassador program in Fall 2017 and has completed QM training (APPQMR and PRC). As a certified QM reviewer, she has performed informal campus course reviews and formal course certification reviews for the CSU system.
