Zero Textbook Cost Program. The CCCCO has $115 million to allocate for ZTC to campus and districts from now until the last encumbrance by June 2026.
The ZTC program has 3 parts:
The ZTC Planning Grant: Each campus was apportioned $20,000 in funding during AY 2022-23 for the planning of ZTC. Funds were used to support faculty in completing the OER Basics course.
The ZTC Implementation Grant: The College granted $180,000 to fund at least one program (degree or certificate) to ensure all courses in their program are ZTC.
The ZTC Acceleration Grants: The College will submit a single application, with multiple program (degree or certificate) entries that ensure all courses in a program's path are ZTC.
