OER Commons Open Author is a free online suite of OER lesson development tools offered by OER Commons. It is one of the easiest ways to get started in creating your own open educational resources.
OER created with Open Author reside in OER Commons, a teaching and learning network that provides organized access to high quality resources, information and tools. Open Author resources may be exported in a variety of formats for use in a course management system (CMS) or for presentations, and they may be printed for easy reference.

H5P is a web-based application that allows you to create rich interactive, gradable activities. Cal State Fullerton has adopted H5P content authoring as an integral part of TITANium.
With H5P you can engage more of your learners' interest, senses, and learning styles to improve academic outcomes by easily using text and multimedia in unique ways! H5P gives images, videos, and text-based quizzes INTERACTIVITY! For example, build fully interactive video lessons using YouTube source material, complete with branching navigation and knowledge checks; image-and/or- text-based games, modules, and quizzes; or more robust applications, such as complete presentations and lessons rich in multimedia and built-in quizzes.

eXeLearning website is a streamlined and user-friendly open source e-Learning authoring software. It is free for anyone to download and use. eXeLearning is a versatile lesson building environment, with many of the same features found in SoftChalk or similar expensive commercial software. With eXeLearning, you can create rich, interactive, SCORM-compliant lessons that leverage the power of HTML5, and there is no cost to use it!
