Big Science!

This programme was created to engage curious young minds across Aotearoa New Zealand to undertake country-wide, collaborative research, highlighting the importance of scientific collaboration and the value of local communities in scientific activities. We launched the programme two weeks ago and over 200 participants have signed up so far.

BIG SCIENCE! participants can experiment with atoms and nanoscience, explore virtual reality labs, build their own instruments, measure and experiment with others, and investigate alongside real scientists.

Thanks to the 2022 Unlocking Curious Minds Fund from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, currently there is no cost for participants to join BIG SCIENCE!
