Sergeant Brandon Lilly honorably served with the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office, bringing professionalism, dedication, and integrity to every role he held. Throughout his career, he utilized his background in K9 operations, Traffic Enforcement, and Advanced Leadership Training to strengthen the department and those around him. After spending time in the Professional Standards Division, Sergeant Lilly took on the role of Patrol Sergeant, where he became known for mentoring and developing new deputies, ensuring they received the highest standard of training and guidance. His commitment to excellence, respect for the community, and devotion to his fellow deputies left a lasting impact on the Sheriff’s Office. Sergeant Lilly retired on November 4th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and service that will not be forgotten.
Cory Baldwin - Sheriff

From the earliest days, when the department was just a handful of Deputies, Sheriff Baldwin poured his heart and soul into ensuring that the Sheriff’s Office would become a model of excellence. Through his unwavering commitment, the department flourished under his leadership, growing into a respected agency of more than 50 active employees. This remarkable growth is a direct reflection of his ability to inspire, lead, and unite those under his command.
Sheriff Baldwin’s influence reaches far beyond numbers. He is remembered as a mentor to all, a leader who recognized the value in every Deputy, and someone who consistently invested in the professional development of his team. He dedicated countless hours to training, guidance, and the sharing of knowledge, ensuring that every member of the Sheriff’s Office was equipped not only with the skills required for the job but also the confidence to uphold the highest standards of law enforcement. His commitment to providing opportunities for learning and growth elevated the department’s professionalism and created a legacy of Deputies who carry his lessons forward.

Ryland Walters - Sergeant
Professional Standards Division (Retired)

Sergeant Ryland Walters honorably served with the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office, most recently as the Professional Standards Division Sergeant. In this role, he was responsible for ensuring accountability, integrity, and professionalism throughout the agency. His duties included overseeing subdivisions, departmental training standards, hiring, and ensuring compliance with agency protocols and state mandates.
Sergeant Walters was also the sole supervisor to establish and build the Proactive and Aggressive Crime Enforcement (PACE) subdivision, which he successfully oversaw until his retirement on September 1st, 2025. His leadership left a lasting impact by strengthening departmental transparency, improving training processes, and fostering a culture of excellence across the Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout his career, Sergeant Walters dedicated himself to upholding the highest standards of conduct, ensuring that deputies served the community with honor, respect, and fairness. He brought years of committed law enforcement experience to his role and consistently championed ethical policing, officer wellness, and professional development at every level of the department. His legacy continues to shape the agency and inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
