Lieutenant
Watch Commander
Nick Pierce
For those I haven’t had the opportunity to meet yet, my name is Nick Pierce, and I was recently promoted to Lieutenant over our the Patrol Division. A little about me: I grew up in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania before moving to northeast Ohio around the start of high school. While I haven’t formally pursued becoming a law enforcement officer myself, I’ve learned a great deal about the profession through close friends and family members in law enforcement who have shaped much of my knowledge and leadership style.
My time in Central State RP has been incredible. Though I haven’t been here long, I’ve dedicated myself to being a leader and supporting those around me. As your shift sergeant, my goal is to lead by example, provide guidance, and ensure every member of our team feels supported. I want to emphasize that my door and my DMs are always open. Whether you have a concern, comment, complaint, or just need someone to talk to about a personal matter, I’m here.

Throughout my time in the field, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles that have shaped me into the leader I am today.
I’ve worked as a K9 handler, where I’ve successfully completed four K9 apprehensions and been involved in eight drug busts. I’ve responded to over 89 call-for-service incidents, executed two PIT maneuvers, and taken pride in helping shape the future of our department by training four deputies. I also hold certification as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), which allows me to identify and address impaired driving to keep our roads safer.
More than anything, I value interaction with the community. Whether it’s during a routine patrol or a high-stress incident, I believe in professionalism, respect, and leading by example. Each shift brings a new challenge, and I approach every one of them with the mindset of making a positive impact on both the department and the public we serve.

In a previous community, I had the opportunity to lead a Special Response Team, where I focused on teamwork, discipline, and maintaining high standards of professionalism during tactical operations and training.
Outside of roleplay, I work as a software engineering team lead, which has shaped the way I approach organization, problem-solving, and collaboration. I bring that same structured and supportive mindset into my role as a supervisor, helping guide others, strengthen division operations, and promote a professional, immersive, and enjoyable experience for everyone in the department.
