Micah Lorenz

The Spiritual Disciplines & Becoming Like Jesus

In this workshop, we will be exploring how we change and become more like Jesus. We will dive into the heart of spiritual disciplines and see why they help shape and form us into Christlikeness.

Micah Lorenz is the pastor for spiritual formation and discipleship at Northwest University, located in Kirkland, WA. One of the most rewarding parts of Micah’s job is being able to journey alongside students as they follow and become more like Jesus. Micah’s passion is to see this next generation shine bright as they learn to love, trust, and follow Jesus well. Micah would not be who he is without his incredible wife, Cristina Lorenz; they have been married for nearly one and a half years. They are looking forward to their family growing, as they will be getting a golden retriever puppy in November.

Meghan McMahon-Johnson

Listen Louder

The past can help inform us but it doesn't have to define us. When we listen to understand and not just to respond, I believe that is where the deepest levels of growth come from and where we learn to connect with one another more authentically and wholly. Viewing relationships and connection through this lens, I hope, helps us be able to renew, refocus, and rebuild during times of uncertainty.

Dr. Meghan McMahon Johnson (Dr. Meg) is the Director of Student Care at William Jessup University in Rocklin, CA, and hails from the bay area where she grew up enjoying the soulful nature and atmosphere in Oakland, CA. Her education and love of sports led her to Sacramento State University where she completed her Bachelor’s, Masters, and Doctoral degrees. Her experiences working in mental health and higher education have fed her desire to help people see the best in themselves, and each other while helping to equip people with the appropriate tools to succeed in life.
