In this Unit we are discussing the many types of digital media there is, many of which I did not know would be considered digital media. We will discuss how to properly give someone credit for their work and the proper termed used for this. There are rules that come along with using peoples work and if broken consequences that come along with it.

Turning my own thumbs up original video into a GIF.
Animation files can be short form videos turned into GIFs. Creating a GIF has been the easiest file to convert for me.

While creating this audio I learned that there are apps and websites used to convert files from one type to another type. Sometimes the upload platform may not allow you to upload the file you switched your original file to so you may still have to switch kit to similar but acceptable file.

Throughout this process my expectation was that it would be an easy task. I have learned that it's more complicated than expected. Having to ensure I'm giving proper credit to creators of many different file types complicates things a bit for me. However, I learned that there are many different types of files and it's not just all about pictures, audio, and videos. It can take time, and definitely patience to convert files therefore everyone should be properly credited for their work.
