What I Did

Group Global Project

For this project I explored global technology issues and practiced digital literacy skills while working with online tools. The country I explored was Germany and my partner researched China.  An interesting fact about Germany is that there are less children than adults due to a low birthrate.  China has a low birth rate as well and they are allowing families to have more children than before.

What I Learned

Over the course of the Group Global project I learned a lot of new skills that can be useful. I gained a lot of knowledge on how to create a Powerpoint and I learned a lot about the various features it offers like transititions and smartart. I learned how to embed documents into Google Sites which is very tedious. I also gained teamwork skills like how to compromise, coordinate and collaborate to produce quality work. Working with someone over the computer and not in person is more difficult than I initially expected. I communicated with my partner through email and Google Meets.
