Digital Literacy and Foundations

What I Did

• I reviewed what it means to be digitally literate.

• I read and completed a discussion about AI and Copilot.

• I worked on file management and created a digital version of my notes.

• I completed SIMpaths about the Internet, web, browsers, and cloud. I began to create my eportfolio website in Google Sites, which I enjoyed!

• I submitted a handwritten copy of my Unit 1 notes the same way I did in Unit 0.

What I Learned

• I learned the siginificance of how much is on the Internet about me and the importance of being careful on what I post. I was not surprised that I did not find a lot, but I was amazed at what I coud find and how easily I could find it.

• I also learned about how Chat GPT gets its information and that it is not always accurate information because it cannot think. I still find it amazing how Chat GPT is personalized and how it generates its responses. It helped me look at Chat GPT from a new perspective when my professor demonstrated an argument about how to spell the word "strawberry."

• Organization of files is key to finding what I need quickly. I will be using the strategies I learned.
