Orientation and Introduction to Information Systems
What I Did
When I started CSIT 101, I was definitely excited to learn more about the various computer softwares since I have never had and kind of formal training. I look forward to learning tips that will make navigating through the computer less of a challenge for me in the future.
To begin I organized and set up my notebook for taking notes throughout the semester.
I explored Brightspace and listed 5 observations about how Brightspace communicates with you.
I registered and got acclamated to SIMPath, our online course textbook.
I completed an email and discussion activity where I did a class discussion post and sent a professional email to my professsor. I asked a question about Microsoft Teams.
I handwrote my notes and turned in a JPG picture of them.
What I Learned
For me, Unit 0 was the introduction to this class where I learned information about how to navigate through the various softwares and websites we will be using. I also learned the following:
People learn best when they handwrite notes.
I learned more about Brightpsace and the various features it offers.
New tips for sending a professional email like creating a signature and making rules.
