This my mind map assignment. For this assignment we practiced working with working vs deliverable files. Working files are the ones you are editing and working on. A deliverable file is when you export that file and it is the final project. Working files are saved as .docx or .pptx while deliverable files are saved as .pdf.
The file name I saved it as was 2026goals.drawio. This file can only be opened through the application diagrams.net. It is a working file.
The file name I exported it so that it could be submitted and seen was 2026goals.drawio.png. It is a deliverable file.
In PowerPoint I learned how to properly set up slides and design them. I was taught how to insert files, add sounds, and animations. I learned how to add hyperlinks that when clicked on take you right to that slide. I learned how to add notes to the bottom of the slide. I learned how to add page numbers in the footer of the slides. I am able to do a lot more than before and look forward to using these skills in future PowerPoints.
Excel is the app I know the least in. I knew how to add graphs, columns, and rows. That was about in. I now can add equations to columns and know how to get that equation to go into all the areas I need at once. I learned about the autofit function that makes the column the perfect size for the information I added. I learned how to change the margins. I also learned how to organize in excel, like using the sort function. I can do a lot more now in Excel which will be very helpful in the future.
In word I learned how to do new things like finding misspelled words in the document and then fixing all of them at once. I learned how to add page numbers to each document. I learned there is a reference function in word where they give you the set up for the type you need. I learned about the hierarchy when writing papers. I was also given a refresh on laying out your pages, and document structure, building off of what I already knew.
