Hello! My name is Alyson. I am getting my associates here at CCBC in biology. I would then like to transfer to UMD. I am looking to potentially become a doctor of pathology. I am taking CSIT 101 as an accelerated winter class. I will be showing you what I have learned or find most important to share.
Over the semester I learned so much more about technology than I knew before. Taking the accelerated course was slightly stressful but not bad at all. I am much better at using word, powerpoint, and excel now. The automated bibliography feature in word has saved my life, and I never knew you could have an automated table of contents. All my work for other classes moving forward I will be utilizing these skills. I got to learn about proper security and how to keep my information safe, and what to do when you think you may be at risk. Always, always, always look into things that seem suspicious. The ePortfolio definitely wasn't my favorite project. I personally have never really liked google docs, the setup isn't my favorite. But, it is always nice to utilize difference applications and see if I like them.
