The Global Project is a group project completed using Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. The purpose is to showcase our skills and knowledge learned about the 2 programs while sharing research on 2 different locations.
I chose to research London, England while my partner chose Ecuador. After conducting our research and presenting it on word individually, we connected through e-mail and made a power point to share our information together.
While I learned many new things about London, their culture, and technology usage I was also able to learn interesting facts about my partners location such as there being an almost equal breakdown of the population between men and women in Ecuador.
A large digital divide exists between central London and it surrounding areas. While the city center is booming with technology, some are left with less digital skills. The UK government has been working on this digital divide since 2012.
