For this project, I was instructed to find samples of different media types from Creative Commons and other sources, and credit them accordingly.
I found this image of Green Darner dragonflies at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge by using the keyword "dragonflies" in the Creative Commons search portal. I downloaded the image from Flickr and then uploaded it to my website.
The image is shared under the CC BY 2.0 liscence. That means anyone can:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.

To the left is a sample audio file called Biodynamic. I chose this sound because it sounds like the intro to a really good EDM song. I found it on Pixaboy's website and downloaded the audio file which is a mps and then uploaded it to my Google Drive so I could embed it on the website.
This audio file is free for use under the Pixaboy Content Liscence which means you may:
Use Content for free
Use Content without having to attribute the author (although giving credit is always appreciated by our community!)
Modify or adapt Content into new works
Pixaboy's prohibited uses include:

If Content contains any recognisable trademarks, logos or brands, you cannot use that Content for commercial purposes in relation to goods and services. In particular, you cannot print that Content on merchandise or other physical products for sale.
You cannot use Content in any immoral or illegal way, especially Content which features recognisable people.
You cannot use Content in a misleading or deceptive way.
This is an example of an animated gif I found on using "fairies" as the key word in the Creative Commons search portal. An animated gif is an image file that contains different frames of an image shown in sequence to simulate motion. The animated gif was saved from the Wikepedia Commons and then embedded into my website.
This image is in the public domain where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

This is an exapmle of an embedded video
This video shows different kinds of moths taking of into flight in slow motion. I embedded this from YouTube, which gave me the embedd code but I was unable to find any information on liscencing or usage.
I will credit and link to the original source and follow the TASL rule of thumb, which stands for Title, Author, Source, and Liscence.
Title: 7 Spectacular Moths in Slow Motion!

Liscence: Unknown - FairUse
This project was really fun and explorative. I had no idea there is so many different types of liscening that works could be under. I also got to play with embedding and using my Google drive more effectivley. My favorite part of this was working on my brother's computer, which has two monitors. This has created a completly different working experience where I can drag and drop things I need or look at multiple different tabs at the same time.
