Field
A field is a specific category of information, represented as a column in a database table.
Record
A record is a fundamental unit of data representing a single item within a table or file.
Query
A request or command sent to a DBMS to retrieve or manipulate data.
DBMS
Software that acts as an interface between users and databases.
Data
Raw unprocessed facts and/or figures.
Information
Data that has been processed and structured.
Knowledge
The ability to use information tactically and strategically.
Wisdom
The ability to select objectives aligned with values.
Example: Data → Wisdom
Data: 72
Information: 72°F
Knowledge: 72°F is a comfortable room temperature
Wisdom: I don’t need a jacket today.
