Project Description

This project was, about looking into a emerging technology and making a PowerPoint presentation to explain Brain-Computer Interfaces. I picked Brain-Computer Interfaces. Found out how Brain-Computer Interfaces work, why Brain-Computer Interfaces are important and how Brain-Computer Interfaces could change things in the future.

My Topic

Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs)

I picked this topic because it is really interesting. The thing that gets me excited about Brain-Computer Interfaces is that they can do a lot of good for people. Brain-Computer Interfaces can especially help people, with disabilities. That is a great thing.

Interesting thing I learned

I found out that Brain Computer Interfaces can really help people who have had a stroke move around again. This is because Brain Computer Interfaces can send signals from the brain to an arm or a computer. Brain Computer Interfaces are very useful, for people who have had a stroke.

Lesson Learned

From this project I learned how to look into a technology that is just starting to develop and then explain it in a way that is easy to understand. I also got to practice using PowerPoint. I added things like SmartArt to my presentation. This project really helped me see how new technologies can affect the way we live our lives and why it is important to think about the good things they can do and the problems they can cause. I learned a lot, about technologies and how they can change our everyday life.
