In this project my partner and I had to research a country or city outside of the United States and find facts about their population, languages, demographics, climate, technology usage/culture, and digital divide. I chose to research Australia and Tyler chose Tokyo.
I learned that Australia speaks many other languages other then English. It's hard to imagine someone speaking Mandarin with an Aussie accent. I also learned about the phases that Tokyo is in with their technology. They are in phase 4.0 meaning they are not as technologically advanced as they want to be and they are aiming for phase 5.0.
I learned how to efficiently work together with a partner to compare and contrast two different subjects in an online presentation. I also learned that I am lucky to live in America where technology is everywhere because other countries are not as advanced as us and struggle with providing everyone with updated technology.
