I discovered political cabaret in the mid 70’s, when I practiced jokes said with the mouth shut. Or, to quote a funny guy, I p...d on the communist symbols in The Red Square but my trousers were still up... 

But my favorite is this one: In Romania, if you visit a tiny village called Lehliu, check the cutlery at the railways station’s restaurant. What’s carved in the forks, spoons and knives? Well, it’s written “Stolen from Lehliu’s railway station’s restaurant” (from “Tanța & Costel, Love is a very big thing” by Ion Băieșu).
