Hill Country State Natural Area, Bandera, Texas
Backpacking
Friday
6:30 pm - meet at annex for pizza
7:00 pm - drive to Hill Country State Natural Area (10600 Bandera Creek Road, Bandera, TX 78003) (2.5 - 3 hour drive)
10:00 pm - arrive at campground and set up camp
Saturday
7-8 am: wake up and eat breakfast
8 am: Go to park office and request backcountry campsite
9 am: cache water
9:30 - 10 am: take off hiking to backcountry campsite (targeting about 7 miles total mileage)
Before sunset: arrive at backcountry site and setup camp
Sunday
7-8 am: wake up and eat breakfast
9 am: hike out!
1 pm: leave park and drive to Austin
3:30-4 pm: arrive at the annex
