Creativity is closely connected with flexible use of one's own knowledge, that is, with the possibility of reorganizing the data present in our awareness. Consequently, creativity may have a direct relationship with self-awareness.

Many traditions and research literature confirm that effective self-awareness requires abandoning habitual conceptions and overcoming the self, at least to a certain extent. That is, self-awareness requires that we distance ourselves from our own contents of consciousness in order to organize them in a new way.

This workshop aims at investigating the relationship between self-awareness and creativity in the management of autobiographical memories, within the framework of the Spherical Model of Consciousness conceived by Patrizio Paoletti, and its neuroscientific correlates.
