Research Questions

Following up on the theoretical and contextual framework, we will come up with a research question, divided into two sub-questions. Each sub-question reflects our understanding of art and creativity, related to a specific concept (dissent and space, both in relation to resilience). These two sub-questions combined will eventually answer the one main question, which we formulated as:

What is the role of Globe Aroma as an open art house, in the face of a changing migration context?

The two sub-questions are as follows:

1 - How does Globe Aroma position itself in relation to the police raids? – connected to the concept of dissent and resilience

2 - What are the main reasons for participants/visitors/migrants to use Globe Aroma’s space? – connected to the concept of space and resilience
