As we have shown on these pages the motivation of the artists and the content of their respective expressive work greatly vary. They nonetheless provide valuable data. As a detailed analysis of the respective pieces of work would go far beyond the scope of this research the paintings shown here provide an complementary atmospheric frame within the context of this research.
